Location: Hodges, SC (Greenwood Memorial Gardens)

Compensation: $80,000–$90,000 annually (base salary + commission)
Experience Level: Management
Education Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirement: Cemetery industry experience required
Availability: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, some weekends required
Job Summary
Greenwood Memorial Gardens is seeking an experienced Family Service Manager to lead and grow our family service team in Hodges, SC.

You must have a proven track record in the cemetery profession and a passion for teaching others how to lead with integrity and empathy.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership

Lead, train, and mentor a team of Family Service Counselors

Foster a culture of excellence, compassion, and accountability

Ensure that every team member puts the needs of the families first

Conduct regular performance reviews and offer ongoing coaching
Sales Management
-
Oversee daily sales activities and ensure monthly/annual sales goals are met

Assist in closing high-level at-need and pre-need sales

Monitor lead activity and prospect follow-up protocols

Develop strategies to grow pre-need sales
Customer Experience

Personally model exceptional family service at every opportunity

Handle escalated family concerns with care, professionalism, and urgency

Ensure all arrangements are handled with dignity and attention to detail
Operational Oversight

Coordinate with administrative and grounds staff to ensure seamless service

Ensure work orders, scheduling, and grave locations are accurate and timely

Support front desk operations as needed
Qualifications

Cemetery family service experience is required

Prior leadership or sales management experience strongly preferred

Deep commitment to serving families with compassion and integrity

Ability to lead by example and earn the trust of your team

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Proficient with basic computer applications

Strong follow-through, problem-solving, and time management skills
Physical Requirements

Ability to walk, stand, sit, lift, and perform tasks involving movement on cemetery grounds

Able to handle emotional conversations with sensitivity and poise
