Job Summary

Greenwood Memorial Gardens is seeking Cemetery Sales Counselors to join our family service team in Hodges, SC.

Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

  • Meet sales goals and quotas

  • Conduct consultations for at-need and pre-need arrangements

  • Build and maintain relationships with families through compassionate service

Administrative Duties

  • Support front desk operations: grave locations, burial scheduling, work orders

  • Maintain excellent client records

  • Perform follow-ups and manage leads

Grounds Coordination

  • Ensure all burial sites are prepared and maintained to the highest standards

Team Collaboration

  • Work with administrative and maintenance teams

  • Foster a positive, trust-based environment for client families

  • Participate in ongoing training and team development


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Compassionate, service-minded, and dependable

  • Self-motivated with good time management

  • Basic computer literacy

  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced setting

  • Experience in cemetery/family service sales is a plus


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, climb, sit, reach, and lift as needed

  • Must be able to perform mental tasks including memory recall and verbal instruction
