Job Summary
Southlawn Cemetery is seeking a Seasonal Weed Eater Operator to join our grounds maintenance team.

Responsibilities
- Operate a weed eater safely and efficiently
- Operate a leaf blower as needed
- Perform grounds maintenance duties as assigned
- Follow all safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Complete other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
Experience
- Experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate
License
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to operate or learn to operate a weed eater
- Ability to operate a leaf blower
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Understanding of workplace safety practices
Physical Requirements
This position requires a variety of physical activities including walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, lifting, and other physically demanding tasks. The position also requires following verbal instructions, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
